Maine Alzheimer’s Association
The Alzheimer's Association is the leading, global voluntary health organization in Alzheimer care and support, and the largest private, nonprofit funder of Alzheimer research. The Maine Chapter is one of over 70 Alzheimer's Association chapters serving communities across the United States.
As a leader in developing memory care services in Maine and New England, Sandy River Company has enjoyed a long relationship with the Maine Alzheimer’s Association. Several past colleagues of Sandy River have been involved as Board members including serving as Executive Director of the Association. Daniel Maguire has also historically been a top individual fundraiser for the Maine Alzheimer’s Association.
Sandy River Company recognizes the important need for the services provided by the Maine Alzheimer’s Association to enhance care and support for all those affected by Alzheimer’s and related dementias.
